Title: Payroll Coordinator


Profile: Support and coordinate processing the bi-weekly payroll function.


Reports To: Payroll Manager


Responsibilities/Essential Duties:


  • Process bi-weekly payrolls as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage service requests with payroll provider.
  • Ensure confidentiality related to payroll and benefit information submitted into accounting.
  • Process information into the ADP system only if there is proper documentation and appropriate approvals.
  • Challenge and report all incorrect or questionable information that is sent into the department.
  • Process manual checks as needed and ensure cash is accounted for with these checks.
  • Ensure all time card and PTO approvals are complete before starting payroll.
  • Running and sending payroll reports to appropriate parties.
  • Upload all tip files sent by property F&B.
  • Assign Wisely Pay cards to teammates who do not sign up for direct deposit to ensure electronic pay compliance.
  • Responsible for adhering to, and enforcing Accounting/Payroll SOPs, procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for completing all administrative duties related to the filing of all employee PAFs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data entry.
  • Responsible for maintaining effective communication with the Corporate Accountants, Controllers, Finance and HR Managers regarding questions, issues, potential problems, and payroll corrections.
  • Responsible for maintaining good relations with other departments through constant communication.
  • Responsible for following, supporting and abiding by all HR policies and procedures.
  • Willing to participate in extracurricular meetings and/or functions contributing to employee morale, ie: attend hotel meetings such as "All Staff Meetings."
  • Available to work holidays as needed.
  • All other related assigned responsibilities.
  • Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:


Prior payroll experience required. ADP preferred.
