Title:  Revenue Management Coordinator

Report To:  Sr. Director of Corporate Revenue Management

 

Overview

To assist the revenue management team with reporting and daily administrative tasks.  Ideally, the revenue management coordinator will have a desire for upward growth within the discipline.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute rate changes and restrictions within all systems for each Area Director of Revenue

  • Facilitate requests for new rate levels required for each hotel'ensure pricing and availability is accurately entered

  • Prepare reporting for each Area Director of Revenue in advance of their weekly revenue meeting

  • Ensure property has accurate content and photography on all booking channels and within the CRS

  • Open and escalate technical cases relating to the reservations, revenue management, and property management system for each Area Director of Revenue

  • Facilitate the collection of data for all corporate level reporting

  • Provide ad hoc reporting, as needed, for the Sr. Director of Revenue Management

  • Assist each Area Director of Revenue in performing booking audits for all channels, as necessary

  • Participate in monthly Area Director calls

  • Actively participate and contribute to the annual brand strategy planning

  • Monitor and review daily production data to proactively identify potential issues'communicate concerns with the Area Directors and Sr. Director in a timely manner

  • Provide administrative and operational support, as needed

  • Keep up to date with trends and new concepts by reviewing industry publications

  • Other duties assigned by the Sr. Director of Revenue Management

 

Qualifications

 

  • Hotel experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Computer competency required'basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new technology and applications

  • Must be a curious minded, critical thinker and have strong attention to detail--analytical and project management skills are required

  • Must be a problem solver and be adaptable to change

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent listening skills

  • Self-motivated work habits--must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work some nights/weekends

Travel

  • Minimal travel required, but may occasionally be asked to travel for meetings
